How we are funded

We spend approximately £120,000 annually on the CVS, with £68,500 of our core funding coming from the Borough of Poole and £20,000 from the Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group. We are very grateful for their funding, without which we could not deliver our services.

We also benefit from some income from fees for managing projects, rent for subletting space in our office and membership fees.

We are working hard to find new income streams, but very few grant-making trusts will fund services such as ours, which help other organisations rather than individuals. We are starting to offer charged-for services to complement our advice-giving, which will remain free.

We work in partnership with Bournemouth CVS to save costs.
