Bournemouth Hospital Charity Walk for Wards

Join us at Avon Heath Country Park on Saturday 23 September 2017 as we walk to raise valuable funds to help improve your hospital for everyone who is treated, visits and works there.

Choose your challenge from a 1km, 4km or 8km walk. You can form a team or participate as an individual and select one of our many fantastic wards or departments that you want to champion. The funds you raise will go to help the area you choose!

Entry is just 10 for adults, while children under the age of 16 can walk for free and each participant is asked to raise sponsorship. All ages and abilities can Walk for Wards and you could even bring your dog along on a lead. There will even be a free lunch provided by the Rapid Relief Team.

So whether you want to enjoy a beautiful local area of natural beauty while raising money for a great cause, or support a ward or department that means a lot to you or your loved ones, sign up to Walk for Wards now and join us in September for a great event!

Get ready to re-live your childhood sports days and raise money for Portfield Schools PE department and outdoor resources. Its time to take on giant inflatables, a large foam pit, gallons of water, character costumes... and if you make it into the final round, a giant slide and a penguin chase!

Be sure to bring the whole family because as well as the competitive obstacle course, there will be child friendly games, stalls, a licensed bar, an ice cream van and a barbecue to add to the fun carnival atmosphere.
